Featured Projects

We designed Griffin Reynolds and Associates desktop web site a few years ago. When it was time to go mobile, it was important to keep the same look and feel of their .com site.
That was accomplished, and the mobile site includes a jquery slide show, contact form, their promotional video, and of course, those wonderful phone links that call the office without any
typing.
A QR code was placed on the .com site, and they will soon be replacing many of their printed documents with a new version that includes their QR code. Business cards will be first.
If you have a web site and a smartphone, take a look at your own site and see if you like it.
If you don't have a mobile version, chances are you won't like what you see. Pinching and scrolling and trying to hit those little bitty links gets old fast.
It's not a good idea to make it difficult for potential clients to spend money with your business.
We can help when you're ready.
Scan the QR Codes below to visit these sites on your smartphone.

These squiggle squares, as my wife calls them, may be the best reason to get a mobile site. The QR code will connect people to your mobile site using a free scanning app on their smartphone or tablet.
More people will be able to view your internet marketing message once you've gone mobile.

I'm convinced mobile web sites are just like computers and desktop web sites were in the past. Everyone will eventually have one, so why continue to miss potential business?
If you aren't ready for a mobile site, you should at least register your .mobi extensions while short ones are available. Crown Heights UMC has crownheightumc.org for their desktop site. They were late to the www party, but they registered CHUMC.mobi for their mobile site. Page Concepts was early to the web and registered pagec.com rather than pageconceptsok.com if they had waited. Shorter will always be better and more desirable. We can help with your domain registration, but whatever you do don't let some web nerd register your domain name to them., it should be registered to you. They may hold you hostage later. Our founder's brother-in-law could tell you a story that involves his domain name and a high school buddy, former buddy that is.
If you were on bluehour.mobi, you could just tap the phone number below to connect.

Charles Gass is an attorney in Yukon, OK that had a web site, but it wasn't working. It was out of date and didn't really provide much information for visitors considering hiring him. Also iit didn't reflect the professional appearance of Mr. Gass or his office.
We completely changed the site focusing on what potential clients would want to know before contacting his office. Mr. Gass's practice is limited to criminal defense and family law so we featured those 2 topics in headers that stand out even if you just have time to quickly scan the page.
A few sentences about Mr. Gass, contact information and an invitation to take advantage of a free initial consultation completes the home page. He now has a home page with lots of information that is easy to read with links to more details about his practice.
Crown Heights United Methodist Church was pretty much in the same shape as Charles Gass. They had a site but it was very dated. News and events pages can be a little behind the times but calendars need to be current. Please consider this when planning your site. They also needed to upgrade their email program and we were able to find a professional service with all the belles and whistles that was free.
The church is a beautiful building on the corner of NW 37th and Western in historic Crown Heights housing addition. Once again, the goal is to provide to a web visitor an abundance of information (USA Today style) on the home page and include links to full details. Some times the home page is your only chance to get a visitor to continue on your site.
The bulk of the site is the normal areas you would expect to find on a church web site: service hours, Sunday school classes, ministries and youth activities. Crown Heights has a very unique service around Christmas time where Pastor Dianne Peters delivers her "Sermon in Song". This needed to be shared with the world and the iTunes store was just the place for it. They got an enhanced podcast with photos and links to their web site with all the traffic iTunes provides. The best part is Apple doesn't charge to be in their store. It does cost a little to have us produce your podcast, the fees are most reasonable.
You can listen to the audio play from the link below, but to view the enhanced version with photos and links you will need to subscribe to the podcast and play it in iTunes with the "video viewer" window open, lower left in iTunes.
View Crown Heights "Sermon in Song" in the Apple iTunes store.
Page Concepts is one of our oldest clients. They sell computer room furniture and computer monitor mounts to hospitals and clinics, casinos, gas and electric companies, oil & gas companies and nuclear power plants. When we started work on the site, all their clients were in Oklahoma. They now have clients in all 50 states and several other countries. Their biggest client is Pacific Gas & Electric in San Francisco, CA.
The site originally featured a few products, and as time went by, several hundred were added. This might have been a problem but the original design worked for adding new items. The navigation originally used worked for expanding the product line. The challenge now was keeping the site current which proved to be more work than it was worth.
A recent complete site re-do now focuses on the solutions they have provided for their many satisfied clients. A couple of months after the new site was launched, we began developing a mobile site for Page Concepts. Stay tuned for a screen shot of that.

Testimonials
My experience working with Mr. White was wonderful. He was extremely helpful, professional, personable, and accommodating. It was incredibly easy to get our site up and going within a matter of hours and all I had to do was send him an email to get it started. You can trust him.
Laura S., L. Justin Lowe, PC
Larry, The site is working. I signed up my first new case from the web site today. (9 days after site launch)
Jeffrey W, Bankruptcy Attorney
Larry, it looks fabulous. Thank you for all your hard work. I will try to keep more improvements for you to implement.
Ron Page, Page Concepts, Inc.
I was a little unsure about what to expect with Larry White. Some folks in his business are all "tech" with little or no creative input, while others aren't very tech savvy, but have good, original ideas. With Larry, you get both - he's a technician and a creator. He helped make the process easy and the end result effective. Larry certainly has my recommendation.
R. Brad Bolles, Attorney
That was lightning fast, thanks for the quick turnaround.
S.S., Quail Creek Homeowners Association
This looks great. Man, you are fast!

Experience
Larry White, the founder of bluehour, began designing web sites in 1996. There weren't many tools back then and selling a web site was tough duty. "No one will ever put their credit card numbers on a web site." was a comment heard often. "Why would my bank on NW 23rd want someone in China looking at it?" was another comment from a small ad agency owner, who was out of business 6 months after storming out of a presentation we did.
Adobe PageMill and SiteMill were about the only 2 software programs available to do web work on a Mac in 1996. Macromedia Dreamweaver 1, now Adobe Dreamweaver 11, advanced web design in a big way. Many web nerds, our founder included, were seduced by Macromedia Flash, a cool program that did little to enhance end users experience and now drives everyone crazy with moving banner ads.
Hopefully, you will notice looking at our sample screen shots that we design a solution to achieve our clients' goals. Each is different and many things are considered before we start the process.
